In a heartwarming video doing rounds on social media, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain and Australian all-rounder Pat Cummins is seen playing cricket with the kids from a government school in Hyderabad. 

SRH officially qualified for the IPL 2024 season playoffs after the GT-SRH game was abandoned without a toss last night due to adverse weather conditions. 

Hence, Pat Cummins has a lot of time at hand to unwind and he chose to spend his final days in India trying to make a difference and impact on the younger generations.

Pat Cummins surprises school kids with special appearance!

In a viral video, Pat Cummins was captured playing cricket with some school kids from Hyderabad. Cummins adorably donned a bat and faced little kids as they enjoyed the presence of an esteemed star amongst themselves.

Pat Cummins has been a huge star in Hyderabad this year owing to his prolific leadership skills, which helped SRH reach the playoffs. 

As a proven leader and a world champion, Cummins used his platform wisely to pass on great memories to underprivileged kids who would rather not have a chance to witness a game from the stands. 

This personal interaction provided the kids with valuable lessons and memories that will perhaps stay with them for a long time.

That being said, SRH still has a game to play on the league stage. The orange army will face the already eliminated Punjab Kings’ side on Sunday in an afternoon game to mark a fitting end to their already successful league stage campaign.
