Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill are currently in the Caribbean for India’s upcoming all-format series against West Indies. The tour commences with the first of the two Test matches, starting July 12 in Dominica.

The Indian players touched base in West Indies ten days before the opening Test. After shrugging off their jetlag with a beach volleyball in Barbados, Rohit Sharma’s troops have begun training and nets sessions in a bid to prepare for the series.

Certain players are also finding time to explore the Caribbean islands between their training routines. Team youngsters Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill are two such curious explorers, as they recently shared a picture of themselves expressing their love for Caribbean food in one of their outings.

Fans spot interesting detail from Kishan and Gill’s trip

Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill shared some images from one of their visits to a restaurant, describing themselves as “certified sushi lovers” in the caption.

In a post shared on their social media accounts, fans noticed an interesting detail about the shirt Kishan wore at the restaurant. The shirt in question was also worn by Gill a few days before the West Indies tour when the cricketer had visited a football stadium in France.

The Gujarat Titans opener was seen flaunting his shirt by sharing some pictures from his stadium last month.

In the comments section, Kishan left an interesting reply to his Indian teammate. The shirt Gill wore apparently belonged to the Indian wicketkeeper, considering he asked his teammate to return the shirt he was looking for. Kishan wrote:

"Bring that shirt to West Indies. Please don’t forget, was looking for it everywhere.”

In the meantime, both Kishan and Gill can find their names in India’s squad for the three-format assignment in West Indies.

The Tests will launch India’s fixtures for the next WTC cycle, and the ODIs and T20Is will serve as a testing ground for the upcoming ODI World Cup at home.
