Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on Gujarat Titans (GT) in the eliminator affair of the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The much-awaited encounter will be played at Mullanpur's Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium.

Suryakumar Yadav has showcased sublime form in the IPL 2025. The swashbuckling MI batter has amassed 640 runs in the tournament, emerging as the go-to batter for his team this season.

As the five-time champions prepare to face the Titans, Suryakumar eyes a number of massive batting milestones.

SKY Aims To Break Kohli's Illustrious Feats

Statistically, Virat Kohli has been the most successful batter against Gujarat Titans in IPL history. In six innings, Kohli has struck 351 runs, including one century and three fifties against GT in the IPL.

On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav has slammed 283 runs at a superb average of 56.60 and a blistering strike rate of 174.69. Thus, he needs to score 69 runs today in order to go past Kohli and become the most successful IPL batter against the Gujarat Titans.

Suryakumar Yadav283

Thus, if Suryakumar slams a fifty and ends up scoring at least 69 runs tonight, he will dethrone Kohli and claim the top spot in the points table.

It's also worth mentioning that Suryakumar has two fifty-plus scores to his name against GT in the IPL. Sanju Samson, KL Rahul, Abhishek Sharma, Jos Buttler, Nicholas Pooran etc are some renowned batters with the same number of fifty-plus scores against the Titans.

So, if Surya scores a fifty in the eliminator, he will register the second most fifty-plus scores against GT, with Gaikwad and Kohli holding the joint-first position with four scores of fifty or more.
