Superstar Indian cricketer Virat Kohli added yet another jewel to his crown in the recent Test match in Dominica as he leapfrogged former skipper MS Dhoni to become a part of the most wins for his country in international cricket.

India wrapped up the 1st Test in comprehensive fashion (by an innings & 141 runs) inside three days thanks to a 12-for from the legendary R Ashwin and centuries from Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The Test match proved to be a special one for Kohli, too, as he leapfrogged Virender Sehwag to become the 5th highest run-getter for India in Test match cricket during his patient 76.

But this isn't Kohli's only milestone in the Test match. The innings win in Dominica is the 296th victory that Virat has been a part of as an Indian cricketer since his debut in 2008.

Only Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar (307) has been a part of more wins as an Indian cricketer than Virat.

The forthcoming 2nd Test will also be a special occasion for Kohli as he will be playing his 500th international game.

In 499 games, the modern-day run machine has scored 25,461 runs at an average of 53.48 with the help of 131 50+ scores, which include 75 hundreds and 7 Test double-tons.

No cricketer in the history of the game has scored more runs than Virat after 499 games. The champion batsman will look to mark the occasion with a special knock when he takes guard next at Port of Spain next week.
