'Virat, I Am Your Father'- Aussie Media Use Derogatory Slang In Latest Attack On Kohli

The Virat Kohli-Sam Konstas is refusing to die down as Australian media are continuing to target the former India skipper over his action against the 19-year-old debutant. Notably, on day 1 of the Boxing Day Test, Virat shouldered Konstas, which caused a huge stir on social media.

The ICC took notice of the event and slapped Virat with a 20% fine on match fees. Meanwhile, Konstas was mature and gracious enough to acknowledge that such acts are a part of the game and these things should be left on the field.

Aussie Media Go 'Below The Belt' For Virat Kohli

While Virat was entirely at fault, the Australian media decided to attack the RCB star and went a bit too far by releasing an article titled 'Clown Kohli'. Notably, TheWest Australian were the organisation behind the act. 

In the latest events, they have stooped to a new low and have used derogatory slang against Virat. In the latest post, which is said to be West Australian's backpage for their Sunday edition, they have titled it 'Virat- I Am Your Father' with a Sam Konstas face on it.

Fans Slam Australian Media

The latest media clipping has not gone well with the fans as they are hurt by the choice of words by Australian media. They feel that the punishment has been given and the Aussie media are stretching it too far with repeated use of word like 'Clown'. 

Further, it can also impact Sam Konstas negatively as the 19-year-old has handled this situation maturely, but Australian media are also dragging him unnecessarily.
