Vignesh Puthur is undoubtedly one of the breakout bowlers this season. The Kerala bowler made a strong impression with six wickets in five matches, including an eye-catching three-wicket haul on his IPL debut.
His untimely injury comes as a setback for the team, but the franchise has confirmed that he will remain with the squad to undergo comprehensive rehabilitation program under the care of their medical and strength and conditioning staff.
"Vignesh will continue to be with the team to focus on his recovery and rehabilitation with the Mumbai Indians medical and S&C team," the franchise said in a statement.

Stepping into the main squad is 32-year-old Raghu Sharma, a leg-spinner who has previously been part of Mumbai Indiansโ support bowlers group. He brings solid domestic experience, having played for Punjab and Pondicherry across formats.
It is important to note that Raghu, joins the squad at his base price of INR 30 lakh. Just like Puthur, this will be a maiden IPL season for him as well.
