Ayush Badoni is on course to brave a grueling schedule amid the ongoing 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season. While the cricketer took field for Delhi in their opening match of the season earlier this month against Hyderabad, he will now travel back to Delhi to face Himachal Pradesh between October 25 and October 28.

Notably, Ayush Badoni is also selected in India A squad for the upcoming two-match unofficial Test series against the visiting South Africa A team from October 30 onwards in Bengaluru, thus leaving him with just a day gap in between the two four-day fixtures.

Ayush Badoni to juggle Delhi and India A commitments

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) star Ayush Badoni is currently in Delhi as part of the home team to face Himachal Pradesh in the Elite Group D match of the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season. The match will be taking place between Saturday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 28.

Just a couple of days after the conclusion of Delhi’s upcoming Group D affair, Ayush Badoni will travel down south to join the India A team in Bengaluru to go up against the visiting South Africa A team. He was recently selected in the India A squad for the two-match series against South Africa A by the BCCI earlier this month.

The match between India A and South Africa A will be taking place between October 30 and November 2, thus leaving Badoni just a day gap in between the two red-ball fixtures.

Ayush Badoni will also likely play the second four-day match of India A’s home series against South Africa A, which will also be hosted by the BCCI CoE in Bengaluru, albeit between November 6 and November 9.

Nonetheless, the upcoming fixtures will set up Ayush Badoni with a perfect platform to showcase his red-ball prowess and strengthen his case for a potential berth in India’s Test setup.
