Former India and Chennai Super Kings cricketer, Suresh Raina, has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), for questioning related to promoting an illegal betting app - 1xBET. Interestingly, Raina is the brand ambassador of this app, and will reach Delhi on Wednesday for further interrogation by the ED.
Trouble calling for Suresh Raina
The interrogation will be done at the ED headquarters, and apart from the India cricketer, several Bollywood stars will also be questioned for the same. As per NDTV report, Suresh Raina will appear before the probing agency on Wednesday, and his statements will be recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
As per reports, Raina is linked with the illegal betting app, and ED will try, and understand the links during questioning on Wednesday morning.
