India wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant, who has been sidelined since suffering a foot injury during the fourth Test against England in July, continues to provide updates on his road to full fitness. On September 7, around 6 am, Pant took to Instagram to share a story from inside a cryotherapy chamber, suggesting that his rehabilitation is moving in the right direction.

This latest update comes less than a week after Rishabh Pant expressed his frustration over the lengthy recovery process. On September 1, he had posted a selfie with his strapped foot, captioned, “How many more days in this.” The post reflected his eagerness to return, even as he remains out of action for the ongoing Asia Cup 2025.

Pant Looks Strong In Cryo Chamber!

The 27-year-old cricketer was seen topless, wearing only training bottoms, a pair of gloves, and a woollen cap, and a mask indicating he was undergoing cold therapy, an advanced recovery method used to speed up healing. The story quickly gained attention, with fans interpreting it as a positive sign that Pant might be edging closer to a comeback for India.

Pant sustained the injury in England after taking a painful blow from a yorker by Chris Woakes during the fourth Test in July. Despite the setback, he bravely returned to score a half-century in the same match. However, he was later ruled out of the fifth Test, with Dhruv Jurel replacing him behind the stumps.

'Fighter' Pant Enjoying The Rehab

While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not provided a fresh timeline for his return, the cryotherapy update suggests Pant is pushing through an intensive rehab program. With India scheduled to play a two-Test series against West Indies starting October 2, fans will be eagerly watching if he makes a surprise return to the squad.

Pant’s resilience has never been in doubt, and his latest story has only strengthened hopes that India’s trusted match-winner could be back sooner rather than later.
