India’s young middle order batsman Tilak Varma recently visited the prestigious Tirupati Balaji Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh along with his parents and younger brother. The 21 year old recently led Hyderabad for four consecutive wins in the first class tournament.

Across the five innings he played in first-class cricket recently, Varma scored 412 runs at a striking average of 137.33. Varma scored three centuries along with one half-century, which will give him great momentum to begin IPL 2024 with Mumbai Indians.

Tilak Varma recently posted a picture on his social media accounts with his mother, father and his younger brother outside the Tirupati Balaji Temple. He captioned the post with

“Seeking blessings at Tirupati temple with my loved ones.”


Tilak Varma has not delivered Great performances in the T20 format in the recent past for the Indian team and has scored 26,0,29 in the last three T20I matches. However, he has delivered many noteworthy performances in the IPL for Mumbai Indians. The team franchise will look at Varma once again in the upcoming 17th season of the IPL 2024.

The Indian Premier League helped Tilak Varma get his maiden call-up for the Indian cricket team as in the two seasons he has played, Varma quickly became a fan favourite. Tilak has scored 740 runs in 25 innings across the 2 recent editions of the tournament at a strike rate of 144.53 for Mumbai Indians as he bats in the middle order for the team.
