During IPL 2023, everything Rinku Singh touched turned to gold. Will it stay the same when he will potentially make his India debut on Friday (August 18) in the first of the three-match T20I series in Ireland? Time will reveal.
In a recent video shared by the BCCI, Rinku was seen giving an interview to Jitesh Sharma, another player to keep an eye on during the Ireland tour. Before beginning the conversation, Jitesh referred to Rinku as the "IPL ka superstar" and asked about his feelings about traveling to Ireland for the T20Is in business class for the first time.
Before responding, Rinku had his trademark wide smile on his face and admitted that, like every Indian child, playing for his country was his dream. He further added that the call-up was a dream come true for him as well as for his mother.

Rinku was in spectacular form in IPL 2023 for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), having made 474 runs in 14 innings at an average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.53. No wonder the Men in Blue rewarded him with a maiden international call-up, and the stage is set for him to go ballistic against relatively weaker Irish attack.
All three India's T20Is, which will run till August 23, will be played at The Village in Malahide, Dublin.
