The Men's Hundred 2023 got underway on August 1, with the opening match between Trent Rockets and Southern Brave. Apart from these two teams, the competition also features Oval Invincibles, Northern Superchargers, Manchester Originals, Welsh Fire, London Spirit, and Birmingham Phoenix. The tournament has brought together cricketers from all parts of the world. While most cricketers are from England, the tournament will also see cricketers from other countries.

Four players who were a part of the Chennai Super Kings squad in IPL 2023 will also feature in the tournament this year.

Ben Stokes

Ben Stokes is part of the Northern Superchargers team in Men's Hundred 2023. Following a series of intense cricketing engagements, Stokes announced plans for a vacation post the Ashes series. As a result, Wayne Parnell has been appointed as captain for the Northern Superchargers during the tournament. Although it remains uncertain whether Stokes will participate in any matches, he remains officially listed as a squad member.

Moeen Ali

Moeen Ali, who contributed significantly in Chennai Super Kings' title win, took an unexpected return to red-ball cricket for The Ashes 2023, at the request of England's team management. However, after the series, Ali confirmed that he will not return to the format again and is set to captain the Birmingham Phoenix side in Men's Hundred 2023.

Mitchell Santner

Mitchell Santner, who has been playing various T20 leagues, including the recent Major League Cricket, is now geared up to join the Southern Brave team in Men's Hundred 2023 under the leadership of James Vince.

Devon Conway

In the same Southern Brave squad, we will find Devon Conway, who has impressed in the shorter formats. In 16 matches in IPL 2023, Conway scored 672 runs at an average of 51.69 and a strike rate of almost 140.
