Seven Pakistani players, including notable names like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf, are poised to showcase their talents in this year's iteration of The Hundred, an exhilarating 100-ball cricket tournament featuring eight men's and eight women's teams strategically stationed across prominent cities in England and Wales.

Within this cricketing extravaganza, Shaheen and Haris will don the colors of Welsh Fire, while Usama Mir and Zaman Khan will contribute their skills to the Manchester Originals lineup. All-rounder Shadab Khan is primed to exhibit his prowess as a key asset for Birmingham Phoenix, while the young express pacer Ihsanullah is set to ignite Oval Invincibles.

Adding to this dynamic lineup, spin bowling all-rounder Imad Wasim recently inked a short-term contract, granting him the opportunity to participate in the initial three games for the Rockets before making way for New Zealand's Ish Sodhi. Imad's inclusion stems from a replacement requirement, filling in for Afghanistan's star leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who withdrew due to injury.

In his inaugural appearance during The Hundred 2023 against the Southern Brave, Imad's exceptional performance, both with the bat and the ball, played a pivotal role in securing a triumphant six-run victory for the Rockets.

Within the thrilling domain of The Hundred, left-arm fast bowler Shaheen is set to lead Welsh Fire's potent bowling arsenal, accompanied by the fiery Haris Rauf. These skilled fast bowlers, who have showcased their mettle both at the national level and with Lahore Qalandars, are poised to make a dazzling debut in this esteemed tournament.

Anticipations are high as Shadab Khan assumes the role of potential spin maestro, expected to guide the spin bowling division for Birmingham Phoenix during this edition of The Hundred.

Joining the ranks of debutantes, the youthful 21-year-old pacer Zaman Khan has been strategically roped into the Manchester Originals squad, stepping in as a replacement for Irish bowler Josh Little.

The ambitions are fervent for both Usama Mir (Manchester Originals) and Ihsanullah (Oval Invincibles), as they aim to showcase their skills in the newest format of the game.

With the exception of Imad, all the other Pakistani players participating in the 100-ball competition are poised to mark their tournament debut, now in its third year.
