The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a star-studded commentary panel for Bangladesh’s upcoming three-match T20I series against the visiting Pakistan team. Former Pakistan cricketer and ex-PCB chairman Ramiz Raja will be leading the six-member commentary team, and he will be accompanied by fellow Pakistani national Aamer Sohail.

The three-match series will commence from Sunday, July 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

BAN vs PAK T20I Series Welcomes Elite Voices

On Sunday, July 20, i.e., mere hours prior to the launch of Bangladesh’s three-match T20I series against Pakistan, the BCB named a six-member commentary panel for the entire tour. Taking to social media, the BCB named former Pakistan cricketers Ramiz Raja and Aamer Sohail, former Bangladesh player Athar Ali Khan as well as prominent Bangladeshi commentators Shamim Chowdhury, Samannoy Ghosh and Mazhar Uddin Omi.

Notably, Bangladesh’s upcoming series against Pakistan marks a return T20I outing between the two nations this year. A couple of months ago, Litton Das and co. travelled to Pakistan for a three-match T20I series. Pakistan, under the leadership of Agha Salman, sealed the three-match rubber 3-0.

Since then, Bangladesh outclassed Sri Lanka in front of the latter’s home ground by a 2-1 margin after losing the series opener. The upcoming series between the two sides serves as a dress rehearsal as they prep themselves for next year’s 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.

The first match of the series will be played on Sunday, July 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. The iconic venue will also host the second and third matches of the tour on Tuesday, July 22 and Thursday, July 24 respectively.
