In a significant development, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a formidable squad for the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan. Experienced batter Litton Das has been named the captain, with the squad featuring plenty of familiar faces.

Bangladesh Announce Unchanged Squad For Pakistan Series

Led by Litton, Bangladesh recently registered a historic T20I series victory, defeating Sri Lanka by 2-1 in their backyard. Despite losing the first game, Bangladesh made a remarkable comeback, securing two consecutive wins in Dambulla and Colombo.

So, considering the Tigers' incredible success in the Lankan soil, the BCB has decided to keep an unchanged team for the Pakistan series.

Tanzid Hasan Tamim and the in-form Parvez Hossain Emon have been picked as top-order batters, with Mohammad Naim being included as a reserve opener. The dependable Towhid Hridoy and the explosive Jaker Ali form Bangladesh's middle-order core along with Shamim Hossain.

Meanwhile, Mehidy Hasan Miraz has retained his place despite two unimpressive outings in the recently concluded Sri Lanka series. The spin-bowling all-rounder was replaced by Mahedi Hasan, who played a pivotal role in Bangladesh's triumph in the final T20I in Colombo.

Rishad Hossain and Nasum Ahmed make it into the team as frontline spinners, while Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Mohammad Saifuddin will spearhead the pace battery with Mustafizur Rahman.
