Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been out of action for over a year after escaping a near-fatal accident last December. While driving back home for New Year's Eve, Pant's car hit the divider, flipped, and caught fire. 

Luckily, the wicketkeeper dodged a bullet and suffered minor injuries. However, the accident ruled him out for several months, and Rishabh Pant has been in rehab at the NCA since then.

Meanwhile, as Rishabh Pant marks a year of absence from international cricket, he is gearing up for a comeback during the upcoming IPL season. Earlier, the Delhi Capitals retained Pant at the deadline and named him the skipper for the 2024 season.

Days after the announcement, Rishabh Pant dropped a motivational and inspirational message via his social media handle, thus confirming his imminent comeback intentions.

Pant shared a quote that read, "Accept the situation with a sense and move on." The quote encapsulates Pant's positive outlook and determination to overcome obstacles, reinforcing the idea that setbacks are merely stepping stones to greater achievements.



Rishabh Pant's return to the IPL stage is highly anticipated, and fans are eager to witness his explosive batting and agile wicket-keeping skills. However, one has to be realistic in this situation, as the wicketkeeper batter has endured a lot in the past year.

While recovery is inevitable, the time and process of rehabilitation are crucial. Rishabh Pant remains a pivotal figure in Indian cricket, and the BCC would not want to rush him in.
