The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) along with Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe tourism recently organized a wild life tour of the Indian cricket team in Harare. Team India, under the guidance of batting star Shubman Gill, is currently on a five-match T20I tour of Zimbabwe in the absence of several of their senior players.

Players like Abhishek Sharma and Riyan Parag both shared multiple pictures of India’s wildlife tour through their respective social media accounts on July 8, i.e., a couple of days prior to the third T20I match of the series.

On July 8, Abhishek Sharma and Riyan Parag took to their respective Instagram accounts where they shared several memories of Team India’s wild life tour in Harare.

The following morning on July 9, the BCCI also shared snapshots of the visit, and they credited Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe Tourism for organizing the tour for the visiting Indian players, support staff and their families.

On the cricketing front, both Abhishek Sharma and Riyan Parag made their international debuts for Team India through the series-opening first T20I match on July 6. The ‘Men in Blue’ lost the game by 13 runs as they failed to chase down Zimbabwe’s 115-run total at the Harare Sports Club.

Team India bounced back in the second T20I with a 100-run win to level the five-match series 1-1. Young Abhishek scored 100 runs from just 47 balls while Ruturaj Gaikwad listed a dazzling 48-ball 77* in India’s monumental 234-2. Later in the Zimbabwe chase, Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan claimed three wickets each to keep the hosts down to 134.

The two teams will now each other in the all-important third T20I on July 10 at the Harare Sports Club.
