It looks like trouble for India is far from over, as Shubman Gill faced an unexpected blow while facing Mohd—Siraj in the nets on Tuesday. India is set to face Australia in the highly-awaited Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from 26 December onwards, which only adds to their tensions.

In the visuals from Melbourne, Gill is seen batting in the nets when Siraj unintentionally hits him. The Indian pacer immediately ran to check on Gill, who stopped batting and looked at his right thumb. The physio rushed to see if Shubman Gill needed any assistance. While the seriousness of the injury has not been revealed, after taking some time with the physio, he sent him back and took his guard to face Siraj once again.
