The much-anticipated Bahria Town Champions T20 Cup, set to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from December 7 to 25, has officially revealed its provisional squads. The tournament will feature five teams that are ABL Stallions, Engro Dolphins, Lake City Panthers, Nurpur Lions, and UMT Markhors.
It is important to mention that this marks the second edition of the Champions Cup series, following the success of the 50-over tournament in Faisalabad in September. The Champions T20 Cup is expected to elevate the excitement surrounding domestic T20 cricket in Pakistan.
Provisional Squads For Champions T20 Cup 2024
For now the provisional squads has been announced, the five team mentors have chosen to exclude centrally contracted players from their provisional squads because some players are currently engaged in the ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe.
The PCB has indicated that once the national selection committee finalises the squads for the South Africa tour and player availability becomes clearer, the mentors will work again on their provisional squads. Any necessary changes will then be made before submitting the final squad lists to the PCB.

The Bahria Town Champions T20 Cup will kick off with an exciting double-header on December 7. The first match will feature the ABL Stallions taking on the Lake City Panthers, followed by a clash between the Nurpur Lions and UMT Markhors. The first round of matches will take place from December 7 to 13, with teams battling it out to secure their place in the second round, which will run from December 15 to 21.
