Pakistan's cricketers are on the rise in the latest ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings, with several stars rewarded for their strong performances in the recent tri-series against Afghanistan and UAE. Shaheen Afridi and Abrar Ahmed are amongst the ones to see huge gains.

Young left-arm spinner Sufiyan Muqeem moved up seven spots to 15th in the T20I bowling rankings after taking two key wickets in the final.

Pace ace Shaheen Afridi also jumped four spots to reach 22nd, while Abrar Ahmed made a huge leap, climbing 39 places to join 27th, thanks to his 6 wickets in just 2 matches.

Mohammad Nawaz, who was named Player of the Series for his 10 wickets, also moved up 13 places and now sits at 30th in the T20I bowling rankings. The top spot remains with New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy, but Pakistan’s bowlers are quickly closing in.

On the batting side, Pakistan’s explosive opener Fakhar Zaman climbed nine spots to 68th after scoring 155 runs in the series. From Sri Lanka, Kusal Perera moved up three spots to 9th after a strong half-century against Zimbabwe in Harare.

Zimbabwe’s all-rounder Sikandar Raza continues to shine. He moved up three places to 4th on the list of T20I all-rounders after more impressive performances. Raza has been one of the most consistent performers for Zimbabwe in recent years.

England’s Jofra Archer Back In ODI Rankings

In the ODI rankings, England’s pace star Jofra Archer made the biggest move. After an incredible series against South Africa, where he took eight wickets, including 4/18 in the final game, Archer jumped 16 spots to 3rd in the ODI bowling rankings. He’s now just 26 rating points behind South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj, who remains No.1.

England’s Adil Rashid also rose seven places to reach 8th, while in the ODI batting rankings, England’s Joe Root (up to 19th), Jos Buttler (up to 35th), and rising star Jacob Bethell (up a whopping 56 places to 65th) all saw improvements.
