Sai Kishore Tears Up During Indian National Anthem On T20I Debut In Asian Games

A dream come true for any player is to play for his/her country and for cricketer Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, the moment came true during India's quarterfinal 1 clash against Nepal in the ongoing Asian Games. 

The talented spinner Kishore received his debut cap just ahead of the match and was seen tearing up during India's national anthem. Several Indian players have been caught tearing up during National Anthems on various occasions, which only signifies the magnitude of importance representing the country means. 

The 26-year-old got picked for India after stellar performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Gujarat Titans (GT) last year, and the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) for the past few seasons. In 49 T20s, Kishore has claimed 57 wickets at a miserly economy of 5.48. 

Meanwhile, Kishore has already claimed his maiden international wicket in the form of Kushal Bhurtel. In his quote of four overs, the spinner picked up one wicket for 25 runs, playing his role to perfection.

Nepal chasing 203, are 152 for 6 in 16 overs. Earlier, India batted first, and slammed 202 runs in their 20 overs, with contributions from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, and Shivam Dube. 

The young Indian side is captained by Ruturaj Gaikwad, and coached by former India batter VVS Laxman.
