S Sreesanth, Pathan Brothers, Uthappa, Amir, Morgan Set To Feature In Zim Afro T10

A new entrant in the list of many, the inaugural edition of the Zim Afro T10 League will start on July 20 and will go on until July 29. The five-franchise tournament will feature as many as six Former Indian players — Stuart Binny, S Sreesanth, Irfan Pathan, Parthiv Patel, Yusuf Pathan, and Robin Uthappa. 

The Zim Afro T10 League is a sister league of the cash-rich Abu Dhabi T20 League and will see franchises like Harare Hurricanes, Bulawayo Braves, Cape Town Samp Armp, Durban Qalandars, and Joburg Buffaloes take part in the first-ever edition.

Yusuf and Uthappa signed for Buffaloes and Hurricanes, respectively, before the player's draft, while others were hand-picked on Monday. Former World Cup winners Sreesanth and Irfan will play alongside Uthappa, while Binny and Patel will turn up for Cape Town Samp Army.

The Hurricanes, based out of Harare, is owned by Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, while the Durban franchise is run by Pakistan Super League winners Lahore Qalandars. 

Other players who will also feature in the tournament are Eoin Morgan, Evin Lewis, Maheesh Theekshana, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tom Banton, Sikandar Raza, Tymal Mills, Mohammed Amir, Sean Williams, Mohammad Nabi, Taskin Ahmed, Mohammed Hafeez, to name a few.
