The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was recently wreaking havoc in the Rising Stars Asia Cup in Qatar, will be back with his Bihar squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025/26 after he was named as one of the crucial cogs of their squad on November 22.
Bihar have been included in the Elite B group alongside some formidable teams where Vaibhav will once again be the a player to watchout for.

Bihar's Ranji Trophy skipper Sakibul Gani will continue to lead the team in the shortest format, while batter Ayush Loharuka, who has scored multiple centuries this season, will also be a part of the team.

Having recently set the stage on fire in India A's run to the semi-final of the Rising Stars Asia Cup, including a 144 vs UAE, expectations will be high from the Rajasthan Royals opener, especially when they face the likes of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh in the competition.
They will play their tournament opener against Chandigarh on November 26 at Eden Gardens.
