India’s skipper Rohit Sharma is known for his explosive batting and brilliant captaincy, but off the field, he has another well-documented trait, which is his forgetfulness. From misplacing passports and iPads to struggling to recall the team’s decision at the toss, Rohit has often been at the centre of hilarious moments.

Adding to this streak, a recent video of him has gone viral, where he appears to have forgotten his phone after a practice session before India’s match against New Zealand. The video shows Rohit stepping off the team bus and talking to a support staff member, seemingly realising he had misplaced his device yet again. Watch the viral video: 


Will Rohit Sharma Play Against New Zealand?

Despite this lighthearted moment, there are concerns regarding Rohit’s availability for the upcoming game against New Zealand. Reports suggest that the Indian captain is struggling with a sudden hamstring issue and could miss the crucial fixture.  

It is important to mention that the Indian captain provided his team with a decent start at the top of the order against Bangladesh as well as Pakistan, but he failed to convert his cameo into a notable score. It is likely expected that 'Men in Blue' will want Rohit to perform against New Zealand if he is available for the game. 

India has been in red-hot form in the ongoing tournament. They started strong with a dominant victory over Bangladesh and followed it up with a commanding win against arch-rivals Pakistan by six wickets. With an unbeaten streak and a semifinal spot already secured, the Men in Blue look unstoppable.
