The Indian Premier League (IPL) is considered to be batter's paradise where the pressure to score quickly often leads to aggressive batting from the moment players step onto the pitch. In this cash-rich league, where every run counts and matches can be decided by small margins, getting out on a duck can be a nightmare scenario for any batsman. 

In the IPL getting out for a 'duck' is disappointing and frustrating for any batsman and to see Rohit Sharma's name in this list is shocking, he has a total of 17 ducks in IPL now and has surpassed Dinesh Karthik's unwanted record.

• Dinesh Karthik has been dismissed on ducks 17 times in 221 innings he seasoned Indian cricketer, holds the record for the most ducks in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

At the time of writing MI score is 77/5 with Tilak Varma fighting at the ground to make a decent total for MI.
