Trent Boult is one of the finest new-ball bowlers in world cricket and has the knack of picking wickets in the very first over. In the 14th match of IPL 2024, he has once again delivered for RR with two wickets in the first over. The first one to go was Rohit Sharma for golden duck and on the very next ball, Naman Dhir too followed his senior teammate.

The wicket of Dhir came on the last delivery of the first over and it was a beautiful inswinger from the Kiwi. He bowled it full and on the middle stump line. The ball swung into Dhir and he failed to connect his flick shot. The ball hit his pads and the umpire raised his finger eventually bringing great joy in RR camp.

Naman Dhir did take the DRS, but the decision was not overturned as the Ball Tracking showed Umpire's call on wicket's hitting. Boult did not stop there and in his next over got the better of Dewald Brevis as well who was brought into the XI as an Impact Player.

Mumbai Indians have a tough task on their hands, and need someone to take them out of this deep hole, if they want to compete against a quality RR team.
