Vidarbha is taking on Kerala in the final of the Ranji Trophy 2025. Vidarbha are batting first in the game, and the onus is again on young Danish Malewar to take the team to a respectable total.

Notably, the right-handed batter has scored runs in clutch matches during the tournament. He has looked like a stable batter and a consistent run-scorer. Looking at his recent performances, the IPL teams might think of him as a part of their squad. However, can they buy him in the last stages ahead of the tournament or during it?

Can IPL Teams Buy Danish Malewar?

Notably, this is the first season in domestic cricket for the 21-year-old batter. He has shown great technique and composure under pressure. A young batter who can handle pressure and deliver in the big stages could have been a valuable addition to any IPL side.

But sadly, it will not be possible for Malewar to play IPL 2025. The right-handed batter did not register for the IPL auction, so he could not be included by any of the franchises ahead or during the same.

Danish Malewar has been in brilliant touch in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season. He has batted in 14 innings in the season and has scored 673 runs in them at an average of 52.74. This shows the amazing consistency that he has displayed. Besides, Malewar has delivered for the team in big matches like the quarter-final, semi-final and final of the tournament.
