Indian cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Siraj were seen in Canberra, posing for pictures with fans ahead of their travel to Adelaide for the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The match, a day-night Test with a pink ball, is set to begin on Friday, December 6.

India made a strong start to the series by defeating Australia by 295 runs in the first Test in Perth. Stand-in fast-bowling captain Jasprit Bumrah and pacer Mohammed Siraj shone with three wickets each, giving India a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Siraj were seen taking photos with fans outside the team hotel in Canberra. This happened as they were leaving after their warm-up match against Australia's Prime Minister's XI at Manuka Oval, ahead of the second Test.

The 2-day match was shortened to a 50-over game due to rain. India bowled well at times, dismissing Australia for 240 runs, which India then easily chased down.

Australia’s Dominance In Pink-Ball

The upcoming match in Adelaide Oval will be under lights, where Australia have traditionally excelled in pink-ball Tests, having never lost one. However, India have a solid pink-ball record too, with three wins out of four matches, their only loss being against Australia in 2023 when they were bowled out for just 36 runs.

Despite the challenges, India have shown great resilience down under, famously bouncing back during their last pink-ball Test in Australia to clinch the series 2-1.
