Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan has voiced his support for teammate Haris Rauf, who has been in the spotlight due to a viral altercation video with a fan in the USA. Several Pakistani cricketers, such as Hasan Ali, Ahmed Shehzad, and Shaheen Afridi, also expressed their support for Rauf after the incident.

Recently, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi also defended Haris Rauf and stated on Twitter that the fan involved in the event should apologise; otherwise, legal action will be taken against him. 

Even former Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Hafeez defended Rauf after the video spread like wildfire on social media. 


Rizwan's Opines On Haris Rauf Incident 

Mohammad Rizwan's remarks on the issue backfired. He faced criticism for mentioning 'India' while defending Rauf. 

Social media criticised Rizwan's comments and stated that India's inclusion in the conversation was not necessarily required. 

But Rizwan's post caught everyone's attention. He called out the fan's behaviour and deemed it irrelevant, regardless of his country of origin. 


What Happened In The Viral Video?

The video, which featured Rauf in a heated altercation with a fan, surfaced on various social media platforms and quickly gained attention. 

The viral footage showed the Pakistani cricketer strolling with his wife through the streets when an exchange with a fan escalated, causing Rauf to react angrily. 

He swiftly confronted the fan, which led to a tense moment that was eventually defused by the intervention of onlookers to prevent it from converting into a potential physical fight.
