The Duleep Trophy in 2024 had a picture-perfect ending for the team led by Mayank Agarwal as they defeated India C in the final, clinching the prestigious Duleep Trophy. However, it is Riyan Parag who stole the show yet again. He once again took over the internet after a photo of him celebrating with the Trophy spread like wildfire across social media.

Here in this now-famous photograph, Parag is seen enjoying an ice bath while the Duleep Trophy happily placed beside him. His innovative victory celebration reflected the spirit of this triumph, have caught the attention of all the fans. 

Having scored little in the first innings , Parag made a great impact in the second with 73 runs scored off 101 balls and with five fours and one six. The India A side, with this win, topped the tournament, winning both matches and scoring 12 points, while the Indians C ended it on the second spot with nine points as they won, lost, and drew.


Mayank Agarwal Leads India A To Victory

India A had a glorious victory as they outplayed India C by a margin of 132 runs in an exciting finish to their last round of this competition. India C was set a stiff task of 350 runs as captain Mayank Agarwal declared at 286/8 on the last morning. India C was not having a good day with their innings, and two quick losses of wickets to Gaurav Yadav made their fight to survive a real difficult one.

Star batter B Sai Sudharsan showed his skills by coming up with a brilliant 111, which was his first century for the tournament. Ruturaj Gaikwad added 44 runs, and despite fighting hard and building a strong 77-run partnership it was not enough as the tea-time collapse sealed their fate.

India A's Aaqib Khan started the over with 2/26, but then came Tanush Kotian (3/47) and Prasidh Krishna (3/50), who did a stupendous job by sending crucial wickets in the guise of Sudharsan.
