The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team is currently in the midst of their fourth match in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, facing off against Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune.

What makes this encounter even more thrilling is the fact that the World Cup has returned to Pune, Maharashtra after a long hiatus of 27 years. This significant homecoming has stirred excitement and anticipation among cricket fans in the region, many of whom have eagerly awaited this moment.

Cricket aficionados from every nook and cranny of the country have flocked to the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium to witness the ongoing clash between India and Bangladesh. It's a meeting of passion, pride, and talent on the grand stage of Pune, creating a vibrant and electrifying atmosphere that resonates with the soul of cricket in India.

While the majority of fans are rallying behind the Indian team, it's worth noting that many have come to support the spirited Bangladeshi side. Every cricket match is a canvas of hope for fans, each harbouring the dream that their team will emerge victorious, with India being the acknowledged favourites in this tournament.

Among the sea of spectators, there's a special fan in the stands, none other than Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma.

Ritika's presence has become a focal point of attention on social media, especially after her enthusiastic support for the Men in Blue during the India-Pakistan clash in a packed Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

In the backdrop of this exciting fanfare, the Bangla Tigers won the toss and chose to bat first on the seemingly flat wicket of Pune. Regular skipper, Shakib Al Hasan was ruled out of the match, and Najmul Hossain Shanto came out for the toss.

Moreover, the Indian side were also jolted with an injury, with Hardik Pandya limping off the field due to an injury. As per BCCI, he won't take the field in the first innings.
