On Saturday, swashbuckling Indian keeper-batter Rishabh Pant took to his official Twitter handle to thank doctors worldwide via an emotional post. Notably, 1st July is being celebrated as the National Doctor's Day in India. So, on this auspicious occasion, Pant, who suffered multiple injuries due to a life-threatening car accident on new year's eve, thanked the doctors, acknowledging their valiant efforts to save his life.

Recently Pant updated his bio on Instagram, mentioning 5th January 2023 as his second date of birth, as he was declared out of danger on that day following a scary car accident on his way from Delhi to Dehradun.

So, on National Doctor's Day, the Indian cricketer dedicated his second date of birth to the doctors, who worked tirelessly to help him stand on his feet in quick time.

Taking to his official social media handle, Pant tweeted,

"Dedicating my Second Birth Date to my doctors. Visit http://secondbirthdate.com to thank your doctor. #NationalDoctorsDay #thankyoudoctor #Ad"

Pant sustained multiple injuries, which have kept him out of action since January 2023. Although he is well on track for a recovery, the left-handed batter, in all likelihood, will miss the World Cup scheduled in India later this year.
