In a remarkable achievement, promising Indian batter Rinku Singh has jumped 46 places up in the ICC T20I batter's rankings, riding on his flamboyant half-century in the second T20I against South Africa in Gqeberha.

Batting first, India had a shaky start to their innings, losing three wickets for just 55 runs on the board. Rinku, along with Suryakumar Yadav, steadied the Indian ship, stitching a crucial stand of 70 runs for the fourth wicket. Although India lost the match, their valiant efforts earned Rinku and Suryakumar crucial rating points in the ICC T20I batters' rankings.

Regarded as India's Mr 360, Suryakumar consolidated his top position in the rankings with 865 rating points, 78 more than second-placed Mohammad Rizwan. Meanwhile, Rinku Singh made a giant leap of 46 positions, moving up to the 59th position in the standings.

South Africa's Reeza Hendricks, who smashed 49 runs off just 27 deliveries in Gqeberha T20I, has moved one place up to number eight, while star Indian batter Tilak Varma has jumped ten places to finish at 55th position.

Ravi Bishnoi, who didn't feature in the second T20I vs South Africa, has been joined by Rashid Khan at the top of the bowlers' rankings. Among others, experienced Proteas spinner Tabraiz Shamsi has improved his ranking, rising two places up to number 10.
