On Tuesday, India had a disastrous start to their much-anticipated tour of South Africa, losing the second T20I comprehensively by five wickets. Batting first, India managed to post a respectable 180-run total, riding on flamboyant half-centuries from Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh. In response, South Africa hunted down the target set by using DLS method after rain interrupted the game for a brief period.

So, moving on to the third game, it's a must-win clash for the Indian team, as a loss here will ensure their series defeat. Therefore, before they take on the Proteas, let's see how India could lineup for the decider in Johannesburg.

India's Probable Playing XI For 3rd T20I Vs South Africa

India's in-form opener Ruturaj Gaikwad was sick and unavailable for the second T20I in Gqeberha. Shubman Gill, who returned to the playing XI, got out for a duck much like his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal. So, if Gaikwad is available, India might bring him to the playing XI in place of either Gill or Jaiswal.

Furthermore, Ravi Bishnoi could make his comeback to the T20I side, as his alternative Kuldeep Yadav had a forgettable day with the ball in the second game.

India's Probable Playing XI (Case-1)

Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal/Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravi Bishnoi, Mukesh Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj

In another move, India might bring the experienced duo of Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer back into the playing XI in order to ensure stability in their batting lineup.

If it happens, Ishan will keep the wickets, with both Jaiswal and Jitesh Sharma warming the bench. This could be a sensible move, giving India the solidity they need to succeed on tough South African pitches.

India's Probable Playing XI (Case-2)

Ishan Kishan (WK), Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Rinku Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravi Bishnoi, Mukesh Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj
