Carrying forward India's rich-spin legacy is off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who in the past decade been the nation's ace in the hole in tough situations.

Now, in his 14th year in international cricket, Ashwin is all set to release his autobiography titled "I Have the Streets: A Kutti Cricket Story" - which is co-written by cricket author Sidharth Monga and will launch on June 10. 

The book will focus on both Ashwin's experiences on and off the field, which will highlight his story around life before becoming this mega cricket star.

In his statement, the 37-year-old hoped that his journey from childhood to stardom and health struggles would motivate inspiring young cricketers.

"I am pleased to share my story on the making of a cricketer. Through this book, I hope to inspire many aspiring cricketers," Ashwin said. 

Hailing from Chennai, Ashwin made his India debut back in 2010, and since then been a spearhead in Tests, while having success in limited-overs as well, featuring in 281 internationals, claiming 744 wickets with 36 five and eight 10-wicket hauls, respectively. 

In the red-ball format, Ashwin with 516 scalps is the ninth highest wicket-taker, along with being the quickest to the 300 tally. 

Ashwin in his illustrious career has already won the 2011 World Cup, the 2013 Champions Trophy with India, two Indian Premier League (IPL), and one Champions League title with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

The autobiography publisher Penguin Random House India (PRHI) described the book as gripping, which will help aspiring cricketers understand the sport better from the point of view of Ashwin.
