Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be facing Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the ultimate final of the IPL 2025 season. Ahead of the big game, captain Shreyas Iyer and Rajat Patidar posed with the trophy, and their placement has fans guessing the winner of the season.

The IPL 2025 final will be held on June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. RCB booked their final berth after beating PBKS in Qualifier 1. However, Punjab redeemed themselves to beat MI in Qualifier 2 and advance to the final.

Ahead of the finals, a mandatory captain’s photoshoot took place in Ahmedabad with Shreyas Iyer and Rajat Patidar posing with the IPL trophy.

Fans Mock IPL Captains’ Photoshoot

In the official pictures released by IPL, Shreyas Iyer stood on the left side of the podium, whereas Rajat Patidar positioned himself on the right.

Meanwhile, fans dug up captains' photoshoot pictures from the IPL 2024 finals, featuring then KKR captain Iyer and SRH skipper Pat Cummins.

Iyer was once again standing on the left side of the trophy, and that year, KKR beat SRH to clinch their third IPL title. Hence, by that logic, fans believe Shreyas will likely lead PBKS to a title victory in 2025.

Both Punjab and Bengaluru are two of the only three franchises to have not won a title in IPL history. Hence, this year, at least one team will break their jinx and end the drought.
