Lahore Qalandars' Rashid Khan To Miss PSL 2024

Rashid Khan, the star leg spinner of Lahore Qalandars is set to miss PSL 2024, the 9th edition of the flagship T20 tournament of Pakistan. Rashid Khan has undergone lower-back surgery and is currently recovering which has kept him out of action from the T20I series against India as well.

According to the reports, Rashid Khan has informed Lahore Qalandars' management about his unavailability and with T20 World Cup around the corner, both Rashid Khan and Afghanistan team management don't want to take any chances.

Rashid Khan recently pulled out of Big Bash League (BBL) and SA20 too but is expected to be fit for IPL where he will be a key player for Gujarat Titans (GT).

Lahore Qalandars have won PSL 2022 and PSL 2023 under the inspired leadership of Shaheen Afridi and would be looking to make it three in a row this season. The 9th edition will start on 17th of February with Lahore Qalandars taking on Islamabad United in the curtain raiser. 

The PSL 2024 will be played across four cities namely Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi along with Lahore that will host the opening game of the tournament as well.
