The Indian cricket team is set to perform their 2024 T20 World Cup victory parade in Mumbai on Thursday, June 4. Rohit Sharma and co. boarded a charted plane from Barbados on July 3, and will be expected to land in Delhi the following morning.

As part of Indian team’s schedule, the World Cup winning players will also join Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a breakfast before taking flight to Mumbai for the impending parade. Here at OneCricket, we take a look at India’s entire itinerary for July 4.

Team India to perform victory parade in Mumbai

After landing in Delhi in the early hours of July 4, the Indian cricket team will meet up with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a congratulatory breakfast. The 2024 T20 World Cup winning players will subsequently take flight for Mumbai.

Upon arriving in Mumbai, Rohit Sharma and co. will perform a victory parade via an open top bus. As reported by Express Sports, the victory parade will commence at 4 PM IST from the National Centre for Performing Art in Nariman Point and their carnival will conclude after arriving at the Wankhede Stadium.

Further report indicate that the Indian players will also receive their Rs.125 crores prize money from BCCI secretary Jay Shah at the iconic venue. Here’s a look at India’s entire travelling itinerary for July 4:

  • Landing in Delhi
  • Breakfast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi
  • Travelling to Mumbai
  • Open bus victory parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede stadium
  • 125 Crore Prize money to be distributed by Jay Shah to the team.

The Indian team defeated South Africa by seven runs in the final last week to lift the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados. The outcome also ended India’s decade-long trophy drought.
