The Pakistan Cricket Board is not happy with former captain Babar Azam and the current national T20 captain Shaheen Shah Afridi engaging in a social media fan interaction via platform 'X'.

It's worth mentioning the 'Spaces' feature on 'X,' where celebrities and users can host interactive sessions with their fans. Babar Azam's recent space garnered over 20,000 fans, whereas Shaheen Afridi's space saw around 4000 participants.

During the session, Babar Azam faced a lot of inquiries from fans, including those about his favourite player in the modern era and the cover drive that captivates him the most, along with other interesting questions.

In the midst of the interaction, Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper-batter for Pakistan and a close friend of Babar Azam, hopped into the space to ask about Babar's wedding plans. After Babar, the current Pakistan skipper Shaheen Afridi has hosted a QnA for his online fans.

Now there are reports that the Pakistan Cricket Board is less than pleased with the national team players' participation in these sessions and they are considering implementing a policy to govern players' engagement on social media.

It's been reported that these sessions will be evaluated within the scope of the central contract, as the PCB is concerned about the possibility of players getting involved in controversies. To tackle this issue, the PCB has decided to initiate talks with players and their agents.
