The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the names of ten groups that have qualified to take part in the auction for two new Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams. Notably, this announcement was made on Wednesday and marks an important step as the PSL gets ready for its 11th season.

With this expansion, the league will grow from six teams to eight teams, making it one of the biggest moments in PSL history.

The PCB shared the update through its official social media platforms. In its post, the board confirmed that eight bidders were already approved, while two will soon be added, completing the list of ten qualified bidders.

It is worth mentioning that the shortlisted bidders come from a wide range of industries. These companies see PSL as a strong platform for growth, branding, and long-term investment.

Notably, among the qualified bidders is Inverex, a well-known renewable energy company that has previously sponsored PSL events.

Another bidder is the OZ Group, also known as OZI Developers, which works in real estate and property development and has shown interest in sports and entertainment projects.
