PCB Announce Muhammad Wasim As Pakistan Women's Head Coach For Asia Cup 2024

The Women's Asia Cup 2024 is all set to get underway on 19th of July and ahead of the tournament, PCB has announced a new head coach, Muhammad Wasim. The former middle-order batter also donned the chief selector role earlier, and along with him, the likes of Abdur Rehman and Junaid Khan have also been included in the support staff.

The left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman has been appointed as a spin-bowling coach while Junaid Khan has been made assistant coach. Hanif Malik is the fielding coach and Hina Munawar will be the manager of the side. 

Also, a four-day camp training camp of 28 players has started in Karachi to prepare for the all-important event which will be followed by T20 World Cup. The Asia Cup will be a 8-team affair with India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Malaysia and Thailand joining the hosts Sri Lanka.
