According to the latest reports, the high-voltage clash between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals will be played again once the BCCI restarts the IPL 2025. Recently, the cricketing body suspended the T20 league due to the ongoing armed conflict between India and Pakistan.

PBKS vs DC Match To Be Restarted

On Friday, the BCCI formally issued a statement, suspending the IPL 2025 for at least a week. It's worth mentioning that the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals match in Dharamsala was scrapped midway, as the situation near the India-Pakistan border escalated, leading to rigorous military tussle between the neighbouring countries.

Batting first, Punjab Kings were comfortably placed at 122 for one at the end of ten overs when the game was called off. The officials swiftly evacuated the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala, ensuring the safety of the spectators as well as the players and umpires.

However, as reported by the Express Sports, the PBKS vs DC match will be played again once the tournament resumes. Having said that, it hasn't been made clear if it will restart from the toss or the point where it was halted on Thursday evening.

Where Will The IPL 2025 Be Played?

The BCCI has yet to make an official announcement regarding the rescheduling of the Indian Premier League. It could conduct the remainder of the tournament on Indian soil if the situation at the border de-escalates in the next few days.

However, as per several reports, England has shown its keenness to host the remaining IPL 2025 matches. With the Indian cricketing body not confirming the back-up hosts, UAE as well as South Africa seem to be the potential shortlists among the alternative venues.

After the game was called off, the players and support staff from both sides travelled to Delhi through the Vande Bharat Express.
