Official! Pakistan Unveil Strong 16-Member Squad For PD Champions Trophy 2025

As the cricket world eagerly anticipates the 2025 Champions Trophy in February, another exciting event is making waves. The Physically Disabled Champions Trophy 2025 is coming up in January 2025 and Pakistan announced the mighty squad for that marquee tournament.

PD Champions Trophy 2025 Is Commencing Soon

Cricket is just not a game but much more of it. Physical disabilities are no barriers to chasing the dreams on the field. The physically disabled cricket is a great example of it. Now, this special edition of the tournament is set to witness the Physically Disable Champions Trophy 2025, starting from January 12.

Four teams across the globe featuring England, Sri Lanka, India, and Pakistan are set to lock horns in the tournament. Colombo will host this thrilling tournament. Before stepping into the tournament, all the sides are gearing up well to make the mark. The tournament will span an exciting 10 days and the final match will take place on January 21.

Pakistan’s Squad For PD Champions Trophy:

With the tournament fast approaching, the Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association has unveiled a formidable squad. Amiruddin Ansari, the General Secretary made the announcement and reflected the young talents at the domestic level who can make a mark on the upcoming marquee tournament.

“The players were selected after participating in the training and fitness camp at RLCA, alongside Head Coach Sabih Azhar, Rafi Hashmi, and Selection Committee Member Rao Javed,” he said.

Abdullah Ejaz will captain Pakistan's 16-member squad, with Ghulam Muhammad appointed as his deputy for the prestigious event. Under head coach Sabih Azhar’s guidance, the squad is all set to make their mark.

Pakistan’s Squad: Abdullah Ejaz (captain), Ghulam Muhammad (vice-captain), Muhammad Arsalan, Saifullah, Matloob Qureshi, Huzaifa Khan, Muhammad Noman, Shahid Wattoo, Muhammad Shahzad, Hamza Hameed, Abdul Khaliq, Zubair Saleem, Mominullah, Abdul Basit, Hamad Shaukat and Waqif Shah.
