On Thursday, November 27, all five franchises gathered in New Delhi for the 2nd mega-auction in the history of the Women's Premier League. Before the start of the auction, the BCCI unveiled the dates for the fourth edition of WPL.
In an official announcement, the new season will take place from January 9 to February 5. Further, only two venues will host the fourth edition of the WPL. For the unversed, Navi Mumbai and Vadodara are the two hosts for WPL 4.
"The #TATAWPL 2026 will be held from 9th January to 5th February in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara. The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will host the opener. The BCA Stadium in Vadodara will host the final," read WPL's official statement.
