The Elegant Pakistan batter, Babar Azam sat for a conversation with former PCB chairman, Ramiz Raja on a local news channel. He was seen discussing the toughest bowlers he has faced in international cricket. He was asked to rate the four bowlers based on difficulty to face.

Ramiz named Jasprit Bumrah, Pat Cummins, Mithcell Starc and Mark Wood and wanted Babar to rate them according to the difficulty.

The Pakistan white-ball captain told Ramiz that Pat Cummins is the toughest he has faced followed by Bumrah, Wood and Starc.

He sang praises for the Australian captain, elaborating how good he was even to a batter of Azam's class saying,

"The way he has, over the years, improved [himself], he will not give you a loose ball. He knows how I can take the wicket of a certain batter by bowling at a certain position. He traps you. He gives you a tough time. He challenges your tempering and technique to the fullest," said Babar.

He also mentioned how the Aussie traps batters by deceiving them by bowling loose deliveries,

"If he does a loose bowl, then I think that he does that intentionally. That is why I rate him highly because he has the ability to take a wicket. He never bowls with a consistent pace, he would normally bowl at 130-135 [kph] and then suddenly bowl you out at 145. So he has that ability to vary his pace. One thing about him is that he will always bowl at hard length if he is bowling at full length, then it is intentional," the 29-year-old added.

Babar, on Tuesday night, starred in Pakistan's series win over Ireland with a dominant 75 (42), also hitting Ben White for four sixes in one of the overs.
