The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025 has officially come to an end, and it was the Trinbago Knight Riders who once again lifted the coveted title. In a thrilling final at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, Trinbago outplayed the Guyana Amazon Warriors and won the match by 3 wickets.

While the final was a spectacle in itself, what stood out this season was the performance of several players who also featured prominently in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Let's take a look at an IPL player's performance in CPL 2025.

Nicholas Pooran – LSG

CPL 2025:

Nicholas Pooran was the standout performer for the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR). Leading from the front, the star player not only captained his side but was also is the second-highest run-scorer of the tournament.

IPL 2025:

For the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2025, Pooran was just as explosive, finishing as one of the league’s top performers.

Tim Seifert - RCB

CPL 2025:

Tim Seifert made the most of his CPL stint with the Saint Lucia Kings. He made 396 runs in 12 matches and smashed the season’s highest individual score (125 off 53 balls*) against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons on August 31 in Gros Islet.

It is important to mention that his century also equaled the fastest century in CPL history and was the highest ever by an overseas player in the tournament.

IPL 2025:

 Seifert was part of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as a replacement for Jacob Bethell but did not get a chance to feature in the playing XI.

Andre Russell - KKR

CPL 2025:

Veteran all-rounder Andre Russell featured for Trinbago Knight Riders, providing breakthroughs and lower-order power-hitting. However, he did not have an impactful season for the franchise, neither with the bat nor with the ball.

IPL 2025:

With Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Russell's season had ups and downs.

Rovman Powell - KKR

CPL 2025:

Serving as captain of the Barbados Royals, Rovman Powell delivered a decent season with the bat.

IPL 2025:

 Powell had a quiet IPL season, featuring in only 2 matches with limited impact.

Sunil Narine - KKR

CPL 2025:

 A cornerstone of the Trinbago Knight Riders setup, Sunil Narine did not have a much impactful season this edition.

• Economy: 5.94
• Runs: 27 (Strike Rate: 128.57)

IPL 2025:

 For KKR, Narine's value extended to both departments:

• Wickets: 12 (12 matches, Economy: 7.80)

Tim David - RCB

CPL 2025:

In CPL 2025, Tim David was part of the St. Lucia Kings, and in 11 matches, he made 212 runs at an average of 26.50 and a strike rate of 153.62.

IPL 2025:
