Virat Kohli and Indian captain Rohit Sharma made their respective returns to the side for their dead-rubber third ODI match against Australia. While Team India lost the high-scoring affair by 66 runs, the ‘Men in Blue’ sealed the series with convincing wins in Mohali and Indore under interim skipper KL Rahul.

Both Kohli and Sharma belted imperial half-centuries in their comeback game in pursuit of Australia’s colossal 352-run total, entertaining one-and-all at a packed Saurashtra Cricket Stadium with their batting spectacles.

As it turned out, Kohli also enthralled his fans at the venue by pulling out a hilarious dance number, one which he performed in front of Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith during the drinks break in the Australian innings.

Steve Smith acknowledges Kohli’s hilarious moves

Virat Kohli walked up to a well-set Marnus Labuschagne during the second Australian drinks break. The Indian batting veteran, to everyone’s surprise, danced in front of Labuschagne while a seemingly relaxed Steve Smith watched the hilarious moment unfold right next to him.

After Australia completed their consolation win to avoid a series whitewash, Smith took to his Instagram account and acknowledged Kohli’s entertaining act. In the caption, the legendary Australian batsman wrote:

"Nice moves Virat Kohli 😂"

Regardless of what transpired in Rajkot, both India and Australia are now bracing themselves for the forthcoming 2023 Cricket World Cup.

Notably, the two white-ball titans will also commence their respective tournament campaigns with a match against each other. Their much-awaited bout is scheduled to take place in Chennai on October 8.
