Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the 13-year-old cricketer from Bihar,has made history by becoming the youngest player to be picked in the IPL 2025. He has been bought by the Rajasthan Royals for INR 1.10 crore at the IPL mega auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. However, his rise to fame has been accompanied by heated discussions and debates, particularly concerning his age. 

Vaibhav's remarkable record-breaking century for India U-19 against Australia U-19 in Chennai made headlines even before the IPL auction. At 13 years and 288 days, he became the youngest batter to score an international century, surpassing the previous record held by Najmul Hossain Shanto.
