Netflix Unveils A Gripping Documentary Unraveling The India-Pakistan Cricket Rivalry

The renowned digital streaming platform Netflix has recently made an official announcement for a highly anticipated documentary series based on the Cricket rivalry between the archrivals India and Pakistan. The documentary series titled “The Greatest Rivalry", will soon be released on the OTT platform featuring the marquee encounters between the teams.

Netflix India officially released the teaser on their social media platforms featuring the iconic moments of the Indian and Pakistan cricket teams. The teaser began with a cricket pitch set on fire with a batsman walking on the same, following the pictures of the former Indian Captain Kapil Dev holding the prestigious ICC Men’s World Cup 1983 trophy at the Lord’s.

The video next showed the image of Pakistan’s only World Cup-winning captain, Imran Khan, with the ICC Men’s World Cup 1992 trophy. The teaser also showcased a map which divided India and Pakistan in the separation of 1947, along with star cricketers like Wasim Akram, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Shoaib Akhtar.

The teaser indicated the documentary series will dig deep to bring out the insights of the mental aspects of the players during the intense clashes. The number of episodes to be featured in the document series has not been announced yet.

The date of release of the documentary series is yet to be declared by the leading OTT platform. The teaser of the documentary got instant attention from fans across social media. The teaser promptly gained over 20 Million views as fans geared up to stream the high-intensity encounters-based documentary.
