In a significant development, Mumbai’s star batter Musheer Khan struck a magnificent century against Nottinghamshire Second XI during the Mumbai Emerging team’s tour of England. It was a statement knock from the 20-year-old as he made his first appearance in Mumbai colors since his serious neck injury last year.

Musheer Khan Continues To Build His Run-Machine Status For Mumbai

The young prodigy had previously made headlines with a brilliant century in the Duleep Trophy at the Chinnaswamy Stadium last season, showcasing his immense potential and temperament in red-ball cricket. An important domestic match awaited him, potentially propelling him closer to his dream of playing for India.

However, just before the start of the domestic calendar, Musheer was involved in an unfortunate accident that led to a neck injury, forcing him out of action for Mumbai for several months.
